Once the finds have been studied by our specialists, they are either sent to the appropriate museum (although many museums now are running out of storage space) or being stored with the company until the right depository is found.
In the case of human bones, the situation can be different however: I was working on a site where Quaker burials were discovered. After the skeletons were examined, they were given back to the Quaker community and were re-buried in their local cemetery.
