Archaeologists uncover one of the largest Roman cemeteries in the UK

Archaeologists have been excavating one of the largest Roman cemeteries near Penrith as part of work on the A66. This is an exciting opportunity to learn more about Roman funerary culture in Britain and finds so far have included some fascinating grave goods.
