Leicestershire YAC is open to everyone aged 8–16 years. YAC clubs get involved in all sorts of activities, including visiting and investigating archaeological sites and historic places, trying out traditional crafts, taking part in excavations, and lots more.

Leicestershire YAC is based at the University of Leicester Archaeological Services and meets once a month. There is a one-off joining fee of £15 which includes a Leicestershire YAC branded cap and T-shirt and the first session, with subsequent sessions then charged at £3 per person.
