Bexley YAC
Bexley YAC is open to everyone aged 8–16 years. We get involved in all sorts of activities, including visiting and investigating archaeological sites and historic places, trying out traditional crafts, taking part in excavations, experimental archaeology and lots more.
Bexley YAC is based in the Greater London / Kent border and usually meets once a month. In the summer we meet at various sites in and around the North West Kent / South East London area and in the winter we meet in Gravesend.

We are running a training programme, using the BAJR Passport, for our older members so they have a national recognised record of the skills they have been taught to take onto college or a work placement.
We charge a joining fee of £15 then £5 per session if required. All our sessions are booked on a first come first served basis.
A team of volunteers runs the club: if you want to know more about how we recruit YAC volunteers and make sure children at YAC clubs are well looked after, check out our FAQs. All our leaders are DBS checked and they all wear red shirts with names on.
If you’d like to get involved with Bexley YAC, get in touch with the team using the details above.
