Club admin for current YAC leaders

This section of the website includes information about how to run your YAC, planning safe activities, safeguarding children and how to support new volunteers.

You will also find all the guidance documents, including polices and training resources here, and the associated paperwork and templates.

Please be aware that the guidance in this area of the website is principally for the use of YAC volunteers at branches which have completed YAC’s formal application procedure. Only branches which have done so and are in possession of a copy of YAC’s current insurance policy are covered by YAC insurance.

Recruiting and supporting volunteers

We have plenty of guidance to support current YAC leaders with volunteer applications from new branch assistants and leaders.

YAC HQ can offer support with:

  • advertising to prospective new volunteers
  • recruitment procedures
  • advice on supporting Young Leaders.
