Help YAC 'Shout Out Loud' about archaeology
YAC is thrilled to announce that we are part of a successful partnership bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund's 'Kick the Dust' project. We'll be working with English Heritage and other partners on a project called 'Shout Out Loud' which will tell and share hidden heritage stories.
Shout Out Loud: The survey
If you're aged between 11 and 25 we want to hear from you! We need as many young people as possible to complete our online ‘History and Heritage’ survey before February 1st 2018. This will help us to make sure that the project is about you and the heritage stories that you want to tell.
We want to hear from young people who love history and heritage... but we'd also love to get the ideas and thoughts of young people who don't get involved with the past. Why not?! What can we do to encourage more young people to get involved?
Please do share the survey link with your friends and teachers, and help to make sure that as many young pepole as possible are able to Shout Out Loud. The survey can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/Shout-Out-Loud-survey If you complete the survey, you could even win a £30 Amazon gift voucher!
Have your voice heard at a free workshop
To gather even more ideas and inspiration from young people, the project team is running a series of free 'Your Voice in Heritage' practical workshops for young people aged 11-16.
Come along and Shout Out Loud about what heritage means to you!
