Almonry Heritage Centre

Cheddleton Flint Mill Industrial Heritage Trust Cheddleton Flint Mill Museum

Mary Rose Museum

Built in AD 200 as part of a great mansion or hotel for official travellers, the Roman Painted House at Dover stood outside the naval fort of the Classis Britannica. In AD 270 the Roman army destroyed part of it for a new larger fort. Roman wall paintings; Roman central heating systems; part of the fort wall and bastion; displays and finds. The house was discovered in 1970.

Nantclwyd y Dre
Nantclwyd y Dre is the oldest timbered town house in Wales. From its beginnings in about 1435, it was continually occupied for more than five centuries. You can walk back through its ‘Seven Ages’ and find out more of its story and the people who lived there.
