My name is William and the book I’m reviewing covers the history of writing right from the start 6,000 years ago….
The information in this book is laid out well.
In each chapter you get to pretend to be someone in each time period and the pictures help you to see yourself as someone else.
Every chapter has a different alphabet.
It is very interesting book which is bursting with facts about why we need writing and how it will change in the future.
My favourite bit is the Roman chapter because I never knew they wrote in columns on the same side and kept on going along in columns.
I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about how writing was made.
