Mother Grundy’s Festival of Folklore & Archaeology at Creswell Crags
Head to Creswell Crags during the Festival of Archaeology for their first-ever Festival of Folklore & Archaeology.
The event will be a real treat for everyone, with music, stalls, crafts, family fun, entertainment and suitably dressed-up actors walking around talking to everyone in character!
Discover the story of "Mother Grundy", a witch that could cure deadly diseases, with storytelling and themed activities.
Explore the artefact tent, and learn real survival skills with guest experts from Forrester Bushcraft.
There will also be lots of archaeology-themed activities, with flint-knapping demonstrations and guided tours of the ancient caves.
