Festival of Archaeology 2017: Bristol’s brilliant archaeology
Bristol’s brilliant archaeology
Come and celebrate Bristol's brilliant archaeology at Blaise Castle House Museum.
Join museum archaeologists and heritage organisations for a fun-packed day of tours, demonstrations, displays and archaeological-inspired activities.
Young archaeologists can discover more about medieval life including: having a go at illumination, dressing up as a monk, and discovering the medicinal herbs which were grown in the former abbey garden.
There's even the opportunity to become an archaeologist for the day and dig in the mini excavations! And you will also have the chance to join in with a Roman feast!
There really is something for everyone at the Blaise Castle House Museum's Festival of Archaeology event!
Saturday 29th July 2017, from 10:00–16.00
Blaise Castle House Museum, Henbury Road, Bristol, BS10 7QS
